Climate Change / Transition and Biodiversity

Invitation

Dear Columbia Friends,

the topic of climate change chosen at our last COLAM gathering could not have been more timely. As the climate becomes hotter and hotter, the topic finally takes on speed in the public, business and regulatory world. We hope that we have been able to put together a program which will

* make us all more aware of the challenges we are facing and
* show some of the solutions currently undertaken by a number of young companies and financial institutions with case studies, innovative thinking and new projects on their way.

Since Africa is on the forefront of some developments concerning e.g. energy independence, we take case studies from Africa as well as Germany.

We invite you to join the next NeoCOLAM in Frankfurt am Main
on Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 February 2023

Intro: right°

To get a glimpse of what to expect look at the homepage or the LinkedIn account of right° – your partner for a 1.5°C-aligned economy:

Every good climate strategy begins with a clear assessment of your current climate impact. From now on, we offer this to companies free of charge with our new #XDC Climate Impact Snapshot! Plain and simple in °C – so that you know where you stand in relation to the 1.5°C target of the #ParisAgreement. Because this is exactly what the #EU’s new #CSR directive will require: to demonstrate that your business model and strategy are compatible with this target.
